WHAT IF WE HAVE MEDICAL BILLS FOR SERVICES THAT MY CHILD HAS ALREADY RECEIVED?

If your child has received services in the last three months, CSHCS may be able to back date to pick up these bills (if they meet the criteria).

The State of Michigan has sustained a commitment to children with physical/medical handicapping conditions.  Due to this commitment, the name was changed from Crippled Children's Program to Children's Special Health Care Services (CSHCS).  The program's mission is to continue to help children achieve optimal growth and development.

Families of children with special health care conditions experience a variety of needs  in addition to medical care and treatment, and therefore, CSHCS has established community based programs through the local health department to respond to these needs.
