Getting immunizations is easy, inexpensive, and can save lives.
Make sure you and your children get immunizations as recommended by
your health care provider.
 
 

Children 12 months old need their 4th DTaP booster shot.
 
Children 11-12 years of age need to have their Td booster.

Meningitis is a severe infection that affects the membranes covering the brain and spinal cord and can be fatal.  Of those who survive, up to 19% will develop mental retardation, seizures, loss of an arm or leg, strokes, or deafness.  Meningitis Vaccine is a vaccine that can prevent 4 types of Meningococcal disease, including 2 of the 3 most common types in the United States.  This vaccine is now recommended for all adolescents and teens 11-18 years of age.  Bring you child in to the Sanilac County Health Department for his/her dose today!!
